If you want to play a round of golf on any of Manistee, Benzie, or Mason County's Premier courses, we are members of Golf Manistee which means we can create a package for you in which we handle your room reservation and golf tee times! Of course, we also suggest that you putt a little around our own special miniature golf course before moving up to the big guys!
If you enjoy the solitude of fishing on a peaceful lake,
or want to experience the thrill of charter fishing for "THE BIG ONE", the fishing in this area is World Class! You can fish from any of the inland lakes and streams, the Big Manistee River, the Little Manistee River, Bear Creek, Portage Lake, or Lake Michigan. You can bring your own boat, we have lots of room for parking.
Our captains fish Lake Michigan daily and have the advantage of knowing where the fish are. If you have never gone out in Lake Michigan on a charter boat you are really missing something, you need to give it a try! Contact one of the Onekama Fishing Charters to make arrangements or we can make them for you
Or you may choose to simply relax and enjoy our outdoor pool
and picnic area, where we have picnic tables and outdoor grills. Our 24 x 48 foot swimming pool with a 9' deep end is a favorite for everyone in the family. We have horseshoes, and even a playground for the little ones.

For your gaming fun, Little River Casino is located 7 miles South of us at the intersection of US 31 and M22. Little River is open 24 hours and has a shuttle which will take you from our door to theirs!

The village of Onekama, located on the scenic M22 Heritage Route really is the Two-Lake Town built on the shores of both Portage Lake and Lake Michigan. Beaches and parks abound the area.
Our little shops and boutiques are full of treasures! Monday nights during the summer offer free concerts in the village park. Friday afternoons offer a Farmer's Market full of local produce and goodies! There are always activities to do.
Onekama is proud of its restaurants. We have the award winning Blue Slipper Bistro and Pizzeria, Shay's Chop House (often offering a comedy night), the ever popular Glenwood overlooking Portage Lake, along with ice cream shops, cafes, and more.
Winetasting is available at Lineback's along with many other special treats.
A common mispronunciation of Onekama has resulted in the "1," slogan adopted by many of the residents. T-shirts, mugs, etc. are available at many businesses including in the Alpine Motor Lodge lobby!
